Sometimes you just need a trip somewhere.
Things get busy, you get stuck in a rut. Stress happens.
Adventure is calling - exotic places, beach views, long road trips, mountain lakes...
This newest pattern from Little Lizard King just screams, 'take me away!'
This is the new Barcelona, which releases this Wednesday.
This sweet little pattern actually comes with a lot of options that give it a lot of different looks.
I chose the sweet dress with ruffle option, but it doesn't stop there!
This pattern comes with a maxi length, hi-lo length, and even a top!
I chose the big bow option in the back as well, because I love back bows for E-Bug!
Really....who DOESN'T love back bows on babies?!
Of course, there is also a more narrow tie option, and even leaving the bow and tie off completely.
I made the simple V neck line for this version, because I thought the fabric would be better featured with the simple V.
BUT there is a scalloped V neck option that is adorable and definitely would be perfect with simpler fabric.
This sweet fabric was found on Etsy from a shop called Nuva Art.
Interestingly, it doesn't really matter which version is made, they all make me want to go on vacation.
I guess the good news is that we ARE going on vacation soon.
Well....I'm not sure if it's vacation as much as moving....or both.
This move has been so difficult for us, and so complicated.
Our house closes on the 10th, so we only have a few more days here.
I am so thankful for my mom, who will be housing us as we transition again.
She comes to bring us to her house on Wednesday, and reminded me to soak it up being here, because I will probably never too the inside of this house ever again.
I think it's okay, since we got amazing video and pictures of this house.
Anyways, after we're done here, we get to hang out at my moms for a few months, and then take a long road trip across the states!
I'm holding onto the thought of this vacation and time to see family and friends we haven't seen in years to get me through this transition.
So here we go......off to Grandma's we go....and the beginning of an amazing vacation on our way to our next home!
Happy Sewing!!
