Sweet Summer Emilia

I love quick sews so much.

The satisfaction is high and the time is low!

This adorable brand new Emilia from Little Lizard King is the perfect sweet summer sew!

In it's most basic options, I'm sure this dress could be finished in maybe about 30min cut to finish!

Of course...I did not choose the most basic options.

We need all the ruffles.

That was what most of the sewing time on this dress was...just the ruffles. The rest of it was so quick!

I actually jumped into this test in the very late stages, and didn't have time to grab any new fabric.

Luckily, an order from Wee Little Things had arrived last week and had been washed and ready to sew. This beautiful floral woven was sitting there looking so pretty, no specific plans for it....why yes, it was perfect.

Just look at how much she loves her pretty Emilia skirt! Emilia features a high low high skirt with the optional ruffles.

Oooh and that back silhouette is just perfection. I love low backs.

There is another strap option for scalloped straps, but I went simple this time.

We had so much fun in our new back yard...especially since we are now officially under contract.
