I know what you're thinking - "I can't do HAND EMBROIDERY....that would take like....twenty decades to make something!"
I'm here to reassure you....that's totally not true!!
Look at that face.....she's literally telling you to SIT DOWN and try this NOW.
...right?
Today's project features the brand new hand embroidery Roseville from Little Lizard King.
This sweet pattern features SEVERAL combinations and sizes of growing hearts AND flowers. We decided to use the hearts for this test for a special Valentines Day themed dress.
If you've never done any hand embroidery before, don't worry! The pattern walks you through every stitch used, and it's so easy to sit and embroider while watching a show with the family.
I used the baby size for square bodice for this project because I decided to use the Bellevue pattern to showcase the embroidery.
I love the sweet Bellevue dress!
Of course, we also layered up with the new Galena pattern.
The fabric for this project comes from Joanns.
I know it might seem intimidating, but it is actually very relaxing to do hand embroidery, and you'll be finished before you even know it!
Happy Sewing!
