I hope I'm not surprising anyone when I say, "Hi, I love to mash patterns together!"
Now excuse me while I try to not die of cuteness overload...
I think the first thing I want to mention about this project today is....THAT FABRIC.
Those amazing rainbow triangles come from Dream Seams Fabric.
You can find them in the 'always open coordinates' section during preorders. I'm a BIT obsessed.
Moving on to the patterns used in this project, there are a total of three, with some slight modifications.
The main dress on this is Little Lizard King's Malibu.
The top front has been modified with a straight neckline and pin tuck detail.
The back bow has been doubled in width and lengthened quite a bit, because big huge bows are where it's AT for me right now.
That gorgeous two layered double circle skirt? That's from Little Lizard King's Aarhus!
Why yes, that is a total of FOUR full circle skirts on this toddler.
Of course, it's the middle of winter, so it's not the WARMEST time of the year here. I used the Malibu for this project so I could bring this dress into the summer months as well, but that means I need a warming layer. Yes yes....she IS wearing the new FREE pattern from LLK, the Galena!
All of these patterns together with this fabric have created the most beautiful rainbow dress!
Happy Sewing!
