Nostalgia

The 80's kid in me is quietly squealing in delight.

Who didn't adore Care Bears?!

I KNOW...I say this EVERY TIME, but THIS is my FAVORITE dress!!

This super sweet Care Bears fabric comes from Snowy Owl Custom Fabrics. The rainbow coordinate is from Knitpop.

I seriously can't get over this cute outfit.

This pattern is new to me. It comes from Peony Patterns, and the pattern is called Jasmine.

Of course, if you've been following my sewing for more than a week, you know I enjoy modifying and mashing EVERYTHING.

On this particular dress, I added a double tiered skirt, with the bottom layer being about 2" longer, so those beautiful rainbow ruffles peek out. It also makes the skirt fuller!

I also added a sash in the front...

...and a big bow in the back!

I also used cuffs for the sleeves instead of elastic. So this is what nostalgia is.
