Nighty Night, Don't Let the Bed Bugs Bite

I don't often sew up pajamas, we mostly just use old t-shirts. However....this is just too sweet.

This sweet soft nightgown has been named "mermaid dress" by miss E-Bug.

Please don't ask me why...she obviously has other ACTUAL mermaid dresses.

But she kept calling this her 'mermaid dress' and she went to bed happily wearing it, so I guess that's winning.

This sweet pattern is the Adelaide from Little Lizard King.

This pattern comes in a ruffled nightgown, simple nightgown, ruffled and simple top, with shorts and pants.

I decided to go with a soft timeless look with the solid light green double gauze from knitfabric.com.

For the ruffle, I actually used the same fabric, but I noticed one side was darker than the other. I used the wrong side of the fabric on the ruffle so it had a coordinating lighter green highlight.

We ran out just before sunset, and E-Bug ran straight to our new home right next door to Grandma and Bobo.

I'm pretty happy with our new gorgeous back yard, the amazing stone path...

I love that this has been here for almost a hundred years....it's truly breathtaking.

I love to think about coming out in the evenings, walking along our path, as a way to wind down from the day.

Sleep well little one.

Happy Sewing!! -Shelley
