Happy Launch Day, Sunflower Seams!!

Today's the day!! It's LAUNCH DAY!

Today's post is about a BRAND NEW pattern company! Sunflower Seams launches TODAY, and there are FIVE amazing new patterns releasing in THREE different size ranges today.

Over the next few days, I will be posting more about each pattern individually.

But right now, I get to tell you a little more about Sunflower Seams!

I will NEVER forget the day Becca reached out to me to ask if I would test for Simple Life Pattern Co. I was feeling pretty bummed because the kids and I had to move to my mom's house in the beginning of the Covid pandemic to get away from the panic of the city. When we got to her house, I noticed I had a message asking if I would test for them...This is probably the most exciting moment of my sewing "career", since I always wanted to test patterns and strike sew, but 'getting into it' can be difficult. This led to many amazing SL tests, and eventually I was able to begin testing for Little Lizard King, and then strike sewing wasn't too far behind.

I know what you're thinking..."what does that have to do with Sunflower Seams?" Well I'm glad you asked!

Around the end of the year, Simple Life lost two of their designers (one of which was Becca, who kick started my sewing "career"), which really bummed me out again. A few weeks later, I received a message from the other designer, Gail, about how she and Becca were starting up a brand new pattern company - Sunflower Seams!! I was so so excited and happy to have their designs back in my life! I really love testing for these two outstanding women! I agreed to help admin the new group, and have met some amazing ladies - getting to know the team better over the past few months...even finding they share my distain of SNOW!! I have found my people, and I love them.

Along with Becca and Gail, Sunflower Seams has two other designers, Kristen and Rachel. I cannot wait to see what all of these amazing ladies will design. For now, check out the newly launched site, grab a pattern....or six...or nine. Whatevs!

Happy Launch Day, Sunflower Seams!!!
