I'm going to be honest....I was NEVER going to sew a collar on anything. Like EVER.
I mean, I've had plenty of opportunity to. I probably even have a few patterns that have a collar option. I just never gravitated towards them.
But seeing it ON my baby....WOW I am IN LOVE. It's such a timeless sweet look. This sweet pattern is the Gardenia from Sunflower Seams. This adorable design is available in baby and children sizes.
This pattern also features one of my favorite styles of sleeve! Anything loose with a cuff is my favorite, and these adorable puffy sleeves are too sweet.
Of course, I HAVE to talk about that SKIRT. That is a FULL DOUBLE circle skirt!! Yes, there are multiple YARDS of fabric on this child! Of course, this pattern also comes with a top option if you don't want a full dress.
I love this super adorable dress, and I'm SO GLAD I tried the collar. Now I don't want to spoil any of the FUN TIMES WITH SHELLEY, but keep your eyes out for another Gardenia in the days to come....
