Eden's Happiest Place on Earth

Updated: Oct 6, 2020

One of my favorite things to sew is mashing up multiple patterns into one adorable creation. One of my biggest inspirations is the Simple Life Pattern Co's monthly challenge. Every month, there are a handful of patterns for sale and prizes to be won for using those patterns. The first mashup of October uses FOUR different patterns to create this sweet little dress.

The base pattern of the bodice is Adelyn from the challenge. It comes in girl and baby sizes. It features a low scoop back and a bow.

I've been using Pearl (girl and baby sizes) a lot recently in the necklines. I've been enjoying mashing it with the new Geneva (girl and baby sizes). The front panel has so many styling options.

For the skirt, I used Opal (girl and baby sizes). I absolutely adore the faux wrap skirt and ruffles!!

The Mickey fabric came from Oh So Pretty Custom Fabric shop. Of course, NO dress would be complete without her hair bows!!

We went to a friends house yesterday, and Eden got to hang out with her favorite things in the entire world.......CHICKENS!!

Yes....she requires no less than five chicken plushies every day for nap time. There was also a fair amount of bunny petting time. She seemed slightly confused on the difference between petting a bunny and dragging a cat around the house.

She had a dance dance party near the gravel road.....

....and another one by the tire swing.

She adores Mickey Mouse, and was so excited to wear her Mickey dress! This really is Eden's happiest place on Earth!!

Happy sewing!
