Christmas Sewing!

If you're anything like my family, everyone gets new undies and pjs during Christmastime.

Why yes, I HAVE been busy.

Before we start, all fabric is from Fabric.com.

Let's start with the undies pattern!

The brand new Castella from Little Lizard King releases on Tuesday Dec 8.

This is one pattern that includes girl boy leg undies, bikini briefs, boys briefs, and boy boxer briefs.

It was really amusing to me to photograph these undies, because my kids would laugh about me taking pictures of their undies. The teen, however, was slightly horrified.

The next pattern I tested these past few weeks was the Lassen from Little Lizard King which also releases Tuesday Dec 8.

This is a PJ set that has so many different options!

I did try to make sure everyone had a different set, with different options.

Littlest first, we have the sweetest little nightgown.

For this nightie I chose long sleeves and the cutest little placket and ruffle detail.

She loves her sweet nightie!

Next up we have this little guy.

I wanted to show a very simple look so he has shorts and long sleeves.

I wanted the boys to match without being too same same....

....so big guy got a placket detail and pants!

He was pretty happy with his PJs and has been running around in them for DAYS.

Big sister wanted shorts, which I was pretty relieved about, because I only had two yards of the striped fabric.

She got a short sleeved shirt so could show that option as well. She has a pretty cute set.

Of course....I've been saying to my husband, "I'm DONE testing for the rest of the year!" because four undies and four PJ sets is a LOT......but nope, I'm not done. In other words, "but wait, there's MORE..."

Yep! The doll pattern was announced in the tester group a few days before I planned to take final pictures, but I jumped in!

I have two 18" American Girl Dolls around the house, so I decided again to make them different outfits.

Samantha is modeling the basic t-shirt and shorts.

Please excuse poor Samantha, she has had a rough life.

Baby doesn't know this, but she has a less expensive doll of her own waiting for her for Christmas morning.

Alex is modeling the nightgown and pants.

The hem on the final version has been shortened by another inch and hits around the knees, but I didn't have the time or energy at this point to fix it. The life of a tester.

So there it is...

......all the patterns you need for Christmas sewing.

Happy Sewing!

-Shelley
