Christmas Dress Time

I know, it's been a while. I went on a vacation to my moms house to see my brother and even though I came home a week ago, I've just been dragging.

I'm hoping that will change a little, as I get some Christmas sewing finished up.

I started with this precious dress. The bodice is Little Lizard King's Aarhus.

I am a huge sucker for that corset back!

That gorgeous split back skirt is from Little Lizard King's Lund.

They are a dream together! They even come in a bundle here.

The sleeves on those dresses are gorgeous, but for this project, I wanted more flowy poet type sleeves. I used Hampton from Simple Life.

The fabric is woven from Dream Seams Fabric.

The fabric arrived just as I got home from my vacation, so it was perfect inspiration.

The red solid fabric is simple Walmart cut by the yard, and the gold is from Fabric.com.

All together it came together for the perfect holiday dress.
