Baby Girl Wears the Big Girl Sintra

I kind of love that Baby Bug is just in between baby and girl sizes!

Why? Because sometimes, the baby and girl patterns are a little different.

And the Little Lizard King Sintra pattern is one of those!

You might remember a few days ago I shared a sweet nautical themed romper.

The girls Sintra pattern has the same sweet color blocked bodice.

I used the same V shaped waistband that I used for the romper.

The girls version features a sweet ruffled skirt.

The ruffles are optional, of course.

I did one layer of ruffles, but there is an option for double ruffles!

I also did the sweetheart neckline, but there's also a scoop neck option.

I enjoyed this project, I learned a lot!

The bodice construction is actually pretty fun and different!

We love this whole look.
