Confession time: Ive been sitting on these pictures, waiting for almost a week to share them.
I really just enjoy sharing things slowly, but I've been so excited to get to this session.
She was recently selected to appear in issue 455 of Brand Magazine with this sweet dress.
Along with this dress comes the announcement that I get to guest strike sew for Wee Little Things Fabric!
I only had 1/2 yard of this beautiful pink/gold flower fabric, so I used it as one of my test fit bodices for the new Aarhus pattern.
I'm completely addicted to this corset back.
Because of the yardage, I couldn't complete the circle skirt, but I added this Cannes skirt instead!
I LOVE tiered skirts!
This version used the flutter sleeves, because I think it will be SO sweet in the spring too!
Her hair was a big spur of the moment thing.
I grabbed this headband on Amazon, and wanted to use it for the red dress, but she refused to go anywhere near it.
I finally had the idea to let her watch Mickey Mouse while I did her hair. Not only did she let me put it in, but she BEGGED to put it back in her hair when it was time to take it off.
It kept falling out, because Baby Hair. But it looks SO pretty.
We took her to the USMC Museum for this shoot.
While we were there, we found a hidden path in the woods, with an informational panel explaining that it was the original Kings Highway. George Washington used this road during the Revolutionary War. Here she is running in his footsteps.
Happy Sewing!!
