Happy Birthday Baby Bug!

It's her birthday!!

That's right, it's this little girl's THIRD birthday!

We named her Eden, which means 'delight, or paradise'.

I'd say this little kiddo definitely lives up to her sweet name.

She is always so affectionate, cheerful, and silly.

Obviously she has her toddler-ness that shows up in screaming fits and tantrums, but for the most part, this little one is just joyful.

I know most of her life we've been struggling with her tendency to fake medical conditions...

She's faked a genetic disorder, heart condition, cancer, diabetes, even her own death for two weeks at one point.

She's pulled through all of those things, and even thrived during her chronic benign neutropenia.

She is now our healthy happy little girl who is THREE today!!

She obviously NEEDED a special birthday dress and photoshoot!

Her favorite things to do are running around outside with the boy, playing with the ducks, watching movies, avoiding nap time, and snuggling.

She loves to eat cherry tomatoes, string cheese, Mac and cheese, bananas, and milk.

She can tell her her name (including her middle name), how old she is (we need to update her on her age), and the color of her hair. She can tell you she's doing "ggreeeeeAAT!!" if you ask how she's doing.

She loves to sing 'twinkle twinkle', 'Bobo Shelby', 'ABC', and 'I love you Eden Bug'.

She is both tomboyish AND girly. She LOVES fancy dresses but also running around barefoot outside with sticks and dirt.

She loves to pretend she's various animals and knows all the correct animal noises. Yes, I've had to pet an EdenCow before.

Her life has been both hard and happy. She's been in and out of medical monitoring which has included many blood draws, hospital visits, medicine, and even bone marrow sample taken. But she's surpassed what her doctors have expected from her, and finally came through it all.

Happy birthday little baby bug!! Hopefully our lives can finally settle down, as we get settled in our new home and new life. Your childhood will be much different from your siblings as you'll be the only one to put down permanent roots so early in life. We love you, little girl!!

Happy Sewing!!
