I'm a BIT behind in my personal sharing schedule. I know.
I was supposed to share the girls matching outfits, and then the special family tartan outfit with ducks, and the Christmas strike sew.....
But hey, it's been a heck of a week. Tuesday we had a delayed community day, then our power was off (no internet) for two days (but YAY for electrical updating!) and now here we are, and I want to share my FAVORITE make to put myself in a better mood today.
This is a strike sew. I got this ADORABLE Ghibli fabric from Dream Seams Fabric - and YES, it is available NOW for preorder!!
And YES, I will be ordering YARDS of it. SO CUTE!
As soon as I saw this fabric, my brain went into cuteness overdrive, and I KNEW I needed the perfect pairing of patterns for this one!
I'm sure you might recognize Sunflower Seams Pepper - my first design!
I used some rainbow tulle in the back as an overlay to kind of give it some depth.
The skirt is my Wildflower pattern! Because part of my evil genius plan was to mash it with everything.
Now this baby girl is all set to go in her adorable Ghibli dress! I guess now all that's missing is the clearance to go to Japan. But....we all know that's an entire saga of a story.
Happy Sewing!!
